We all have a “Super Power”.

You know, that thing that you do so well and comes so easily to you that you really don’t think it’s that big of a deal?

Maybe it’s…

  • whipping up an amazing meal from scratch
  • managing a successful business
  • running a 10k race

Whatever it is, I bet you do it so well you make it look effortless! But when it comes to getting dressed, you are stuck.

Well, that’s where MY Super Powers come in!

  • look at you and instantly see your style potential (even when you can’t yet see it yourself)
  • take any piece of clothing and show you a fun new way to wear it that you would have never considered before
  • create dozens of different outfits using a limited amount of clothing (and I’ll show you how to do the same)

Once we are done working together not only will you have a new wardrobe of items you are excited to wear, but you’ll also have the tools, the know how, and confidence to do it on your own in the future.

I believe getting dressed should be fun and a way of expressing yourself – it’s really all about who you are on the inside, showing up on the outside.

But it does take some planning, a certain skill set, and a strategy to get there though.

Don’t worry, I’ll take care of that part!

“Style is something each of us already has,

all we need to do is find it.”

Diane von Furstenberg

As a Personal Stylist trained in NYC by Stacy London from ‘What Not to Wear’ and a certified Image Consultant, I know exactly what it takes to create a style and wardrobe that works.

Since 2009, I have had the honour of helping thousands of women makeover their wardrobes, and I can do the same for you.

Sounds awesome, right?

By the time we’re done working together, you’ll have…

  • A clear understanding of what your Personal Style is and how to execute it.
  • Clothes that you look AH-MAZING in and you’re excited to wear.
  • A new wardrobe of pieces that can easily be mixed and matched with one another to create a variety of looks.

I have been told by my clients that what I do is life changing and that it has forever changed the way they look at getting dressed, shopping, and putting outfits together.

Yes, it means making an investment in yourself, but I promise the rewards are priceless.

Who do I work with?

Whether you love shopping and are just looking for some expert guidance on how to take your style to the next level.

Are desperate to makeover your wardrobe but have NO IDEA where to begin and the thought of spending an afternoon at the local mall makes you break out in a sweat.

You are somewhere in between.

I can help with my signature in person package,

The Wardrobe Review & Refresh.

Does this sound like you?

  • You feel like you have a closet full of “nothing to wear”.
  • You’re bored wearing the same outfits over and over again.
  • You have some items in your closet you were so excited about when you bought them, but you’ve yet to wear them.
  • You’re ready to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new when it comes to your style and wardrobe, but you’re afraid of making a “mistake” or looking silly.
  • You want to begin making over your wardrobe, but want some expert help to get started so you don’t waste any more money on pieces you don’t end up wearing or liking.
  • You want a wardrobe of pieces you can mix and match with one another to create a variety of outfits you are excited to wear.

If you answered “YES” to at least 3 of the above statements, then my signature package the Wardrobe Review & Refresh was made for you!

Session 1: We’ll start the process at your home with a thorough Style Assessment before heading to your closet for a review of your current seasonal wardrobe. Afterwards, we’ll sit down to discuss and create your style and shopping plan, and set the date for your shopping session.

Session 2: On our scheduled shopping day, I will go to the shopping location ahead of time to begin putting aside pieces I think will be perfect for you based on your style and wardrobe plan, so that when you arrive for that first shopping session you can start trying things on right away.

I’ll show you pieces I think are best for you based on your personal style, colouring, lifestyle, and budget. All you have to do is decide what to purchase, and then we’ll continue shopping together (up to 4 hours) to make those pieces into complete head to toe outfits…including shoes and accessories!

BONUS Follow Up: Once our in person sessions are over, I won’t leave you hanging! You’ll also get 30 days of unlimited e-mail, phone, and text support to ask questions and get feedback on new purchase you may have made on your own after our shopping time together.

TOTAL INVESTMENT: $1450 + HST (clothing costs not included)

Optional Add On: Styling Session

Have a hard time remembering what to wear with what?

About a week after our final shopping session, I will come and take pictures of your new pieces and put those pictures in a handy little digital guide you can use as a reference when getting dressed (and shopping) for the rest of the season.

Ready to get started?

Awesome! But there’s one last (and VERY IMPORTANT!) thing…

We have to be a good fit for one another, because this won’t work if we’re not on the same page.

I’ll let you decide.

I’m the BEST Personal Stylist for you if:

  • you’re excited to try something new
  • you’re willing to accept and dress your body as it is now
  • you’re happy to invest the time, energy, & money in YOU
  • you’re okay with getting noticed and daily compliments

I’m NOT the Personal Stylist for you if:

  • you aren’t ready to step outside of your comfort zone
  • you can’t appreciate your body the way it is now
  • you’re not sure you’re worth it
  • you want to just blend in and not get noticed

So, are we a good fit?

Let’s do this then!

All you have to do now is decide which package option is best for you (if you need help deciding, message me here and I’d be happy to help). Then use the handy little contact form below to get in touch and we will get the ball rollin’!

Please note though…

My 1-on-1 packages are SO thorough and I invest a lot of time and energy working with my one-on-one clients,  so I will only take on a limited amount of clients at a time.

If you’re thinking you may want to be one of them anytime soon, please fill in the form below right away and and tell me more about yourself, which option you would like to book, and how soon you are hoping to get started.

If I think we may be a good fit, I will then get back to you right away with the next steps.

 Talk to you soon!

2 + 8 =

“Will you make me get rid of ALL of my clothes?”

No. That only happens on makeover shows for the benefit of shock value.

If a Wardrobe Audit is part of your package, I will make recommendations on what you should keep and get rid of, but there will be no trash bin and I won’t be taking it out of your home. I am there only offer my expert opinion and guidance, not to throw away your entire wardrobe on you.

Unless something is seriously past it’s “best before” date or doesn’t fit you anymore, I will usually suggest a replacement/better option, and then recommend that once you acquire that new piece, get rid of the old one.

“I am embarrassed about what's in my wardrobe and am afraid you will make fun of my clothing choices.”
NEVER! We ALL make wardrobe and style mistakes. I have been there myself. I still do on occasion – I’m only human. But again, this is not an episode of “What Not To Wear’ so am not concerned about entertainment value or humiliation. Saying that though, my mission is to make sure you get the most out of our time together though, so I promise to always be completely honest with you (in the most sensitive and playful way of course!).
“Are you going to make me spend tons of money on a new wardrobe?”

Not at all.

When it comes to shopping, I will ask you ahead of time what you total budget is (and that doesn’t mean we have to spend it all either), and for price ranges that you are comfortable spending on certain items. Using that information, I will make sure to stick within your comfort zone when planning which stores to visit.

So, whether you prefer shopping at discount department stores, luxury retailers, chain stores, consignment shops, independent boutiques, or all of the above – I will create a custom plan perfectly suited to your needs/wants, budget, and the style plan I have created for you.

“I appreciate your style Lisa, but it's not for me. Are you going to try and push your personal style on me or suggest clothes I don’t feel comfortable in?”

Ummm…no way!

As a Personal Stylist, my job is to get to really know YOU and understand who YOU are on the inside, your lifestyle, and identify your personal style and potential. So, no…my style and wardrobe is going to look very different from yourideal style and wardrobe. Unless of course you are also a Personal Stylist in her late 30’s, about 5’4″ with an hourglass figure and a bit of extra “fluff” around the middle, and you have a love for animal print.

Seriously though…

You are not paying me to take you shopping so you can buy the same things you have always bought, right? So yes, I will push you outside of your comfort zone a bit to get you to try things you may have never considered. To be completely honest (and to toot my own horn a bit), 9 times out of 10 the client ends up LOVING it and is pleasantly surprised. In fact, their favourite purchases usually end up being the very items they were hesitant to try on because they thought it “wouldn’t work” for them. And guess what? If you try it on and still hate it, it’s only clothing – not a tattoo. You can easily take it off and we will move on.

“How do I know we are a good fit for one another and you are the best Personal Stylist for me?”

Great question!

Hiring a Personal Stylist is such a personal thing and it’s super important you connect with them, and vice versa. That’s why I have written all of the copy on this site myself, in a conversational way that sounds just like me and gives you an idea of who I am – so you can get an idea of whether you will connect with me or not.

Saying that though, you may still need more than text on a computer screen. So, I would suggest that if you’re still not sure we’re the right fit for one another, before booking with me (or any other Personal Stylist), ask to set up a quick phone chat to discuss your options and it will give you the chance to see if you “jive” with one another.

I believe that the best relationships are the ones built on a mutual understanding and respect, and I treat my clients like my closest friends – so it’s just as important to me that you and I are on the same wavelength.

So, saying that, does this sound like you?

  • You are looking for some expert guidance and honest input regarding your style
  • You want to have more fun with your wardrobe, makeover your style, and feel more confident
  • You are truly ready to step out of your comfort zone and try something new
  • You are looking for a fun ‘What Not To Wear’ styling experience, minus the TV cameras and humiliation

If so, you and I are gonna rock this style thing and get you looking and feeling super stylish in no time!

On the other hand…

  • if you hate your body
  • can’t name anything you like about your appearance
  • and claim to have NEVER been able to find a piece of clothing that you feel good in

I am probably not the girl for you. I get that we all have our body image issues and wish we could change certain things about our appearance (a perkier bum, more toned thighs, and a couple extra inches of height please!). But as a Personal Stylist, part of my job is to show you how to make the most of what you’ve got and downplay the areas you don’t love so much, but I can’t erase years of negative self talk with a “magic” pair of pants or a new outfit. My job is to show you how to have more fun with your clothes, and how to create the best version of yourself and show off the beauty you already possess and aren’t taking advantage of. Your only job is to be open enough to see and accept it.

“Do you work with women who live outside of the GTA?”

I sure do!

Shopping sessions are primarily done in Toronto, but if you live outside of my service area and are willing to make a trip into the city for your shopping, great! If you live outside of my regular service area (click here to view a map) and would like to shop closer to home, or are booking a service that includes an “at home visit” like a Wardrobe Review or Styling Session, message me to find out about additional long distance travel rates.
