Hi, I’m Lisa!

I totally understand that working with a Personal Stylist is a very personal thing – that’s why you need to make sure it’s someone you’re going to connect with with and someone you trust.

I’m going to be asking you alot of questions during our time together so I can get to know ALL ABOUT YOU, and I’ll also be in your closet and helping you try on clothes.

So I get that you may want to know something about me as well, so let’s start with the more personal and quirky things (when we meet I’ll give you the whole scoop if you like!):

Like how my job as a TV Reporter led me to starting my Personal Styling business, why I’ve never had a cup of coffee in my life but can’t seem to get enough sushi or diet coke (yes, it’s a problem), how I married my high school sweetheart after being apart for more than 15 years and moved to the suburbs after declaring myself a “forever city girl”, my freaky ability to remember the words to almost any song, or why I still lay on the floor next to my Son’s bed and hold his hand every night until he falls asleep.

As for my work as a Personal Stylist…

First of all, I want you to know I am NOT going to push my personal style on you – I’ll leave that to your well meaning shopping buddies and retail sales people. 🙂

My job is to get to know who you are on the inside, so I can help you show it off to the outside world.

I want to help you create a wardrobe and style that is best for YOU – what is going to make you feel like you (but a better styled version!), one that works for your lifestyle and needs, and is perfect for your unique shape and colouring.

In regards to my experience…

Let’s be clear – I’m not a ‘Fashion Blogger’ or ‘Instagram Superstar’ and I rarely have the time or inclination to take an outfit selfie (though every Business Coach I’ve ever talked to always tells me I should be doing more…URGH!).

I’m a Personal Stylist living in the Greater Toronto Area who works with women all over Ontario (and now the world through my virtual services and programs!) to help them define and refine their personal style, makeover their wardrobe, shop for new pieces and outfits, and feel more confident in their clothes.

I have had my business as a Personal Stylist since 2008 and am a certified Image Consultant who was personally invited to train with Stacy London from TLC’s ‘What Not To Wear’. Yes, THAT Stacy London!

As a busy working Mom, I know what it’s like to juggle motherhood, family responsibilities, and a business and profession all at the same time (it’s exhausting!).

I also know that taking the time for self care and feeling good about how you look can feel like one more “to do” on your long list of responsibilities.

Let me help you with that!

I believe that your clothing and how you choose to dress yourself is a major form of self care that has a magical positive effect across so many areas of your life.

  • More overall confidence at work and in social settings.
  • An increase in clients (and income) for business owners.
  • Less overall stress when it comes to getting dressed.
  • Money saved (and no longer wasted) when it come to shopping.
  • Recognition and promotions at work.
  • An increase in other forms of self care leading to better health (and sometimes weight loss!)

Those are just some of the many results my clients have experienced after working with me and I’d love to do the same for you.
